Over 8″ of Rain So Far This March

Weather Update – 10:45 p.m. – Tuesday, March 24th

Jackson has had 8.05″ of rain so far this March. That makes it the 10th wettest March on record! Rain is no longer expected this evening and the risk for severe weather has ended for the rest of the night. Are you ready for the rain to stop? After tonight we may not see another rain drop until Saturday!

TONIGHT
Rain will gradually disappear tonight with temperatures dropping to the lower and middle 40s by sunrise Wednesday. There is no risk for severe weather overnight.

Wednesday will start cloudy, and we’ll get some sunshine in tomorrow afternoon and early evening with high temperatures in the middle 60s. Another cold front will come through West Tennessee on Saturday bringing rain back to the area. In the meantime, we could set record high temperatures on Friday with highs in the middle 80s! When the cold front does arrive on Saturday, it’s possible that some thunderstorms may be strong.
